Right now we’ve retained the sidebar, with both products and general searchbar for the website. Does that make the forums feel small or crowded? I know alot of other forums go either full-width, or atleast whole-width inside the particular theme.

On both my desktop and my tablet, this forum feels appropriately sized. If anything, most forums are too wide.

    Hi Doré!

No, we’re still testing out the forum software.

The width looks fine to me, thought he test throughout the site could be a bit darker so as to stand out better (for ease of reading).

I’m not a fan of all the blank space on the Left and Right sides and the forum boxes are enormous even with only one sentence of text.

i’ve also had a hard time seeing Links in text without scrolling my mouse over everything i’m reading.

a more convenient Log In button would be great
and i don’t think i’m actually being logged out when i click Logout under MyAccount, it just takes me to a blank page.

so far i feel this forum format is strictly worse than the old site.

    Thankyou for the feedback.

Technically, the forumbox isn’t any bigger than it was on our old site – and it’s hard to get all the info in there and keep it readable as it is.

We’ll look over the links issue.

I’ll see what we can do about login areas and being clearer about those.

Not really a forum issue but a site note.
I’m asked if I want to logout without being logged in when hovering over “my account” header. May be related to what Malarky is mentioning. Maybe a checksum for being logged in or the blank page being directed to when you aren’t logged in still being the target when actually logged in. Maybe the state not being cleared? I don’t know, just spit balling here.
Agree with the text darkness needing a bit of black added to it.

In other news, looking forward to this being the new home and getting to some Mythic soon 🙂

EDIT: checked on my tablets, laptop, desktop, both phones and IE on XBONE, the layout looks good to me on those.

Once we have the main issues of the site handled (like forum software, migrating customer data and so on), we hope to solve these smaller issues.

That said, reporting every single thing you notice that is off helps us a LOT! So thanks again for reporting in on things!

It’s a bit weird on scaling on my phone, but fine on my pc. Not a complaint, just an observation.

Also? Coincidentally, my phone crashed while trying to make this post.
